UPDATA911 is a service provided by the Heart of Texas Council of Governments (HOTCOG) and Emergency Management Telecommunications, Inc. (EMTEL) to collect contact data from the general public to be used to notify the general population of any hazardous event that would threaten lives and property.

You can enter your home and business land line numbers, cell numbers, unlisted numbers and e-mail addresses that will be used by HOTCOG county and city jurisdictions to generate emergency notifications to potential hazard target areas. Your information will be secure and only utilized for emergency events. The current HOTCOG registered users on this system are:

Counties: -Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Limestone, and McLennan;

Cities: - Bellmead, Bruceville-Eddy, Groesbeck, Hewitt, Lacy Lakeview, Lorena, Mart, McGregor, Meridian, Mexia, Moody, Robinson, Teague, Waco, Woodway, and Wortham. Your information will be secure and only utilized for emergency events.
